The DBX 166XS is a two channel Limiter/Gate/compressor and gives you all the dynamic control you will need over your studio track or live mix. If you need to bring your vocals to the front of the mix or protect your amps and speakers from unwanted peaks then the 166XS gives you all this. The Peakstop limiter is great for protection and it provides an absolute ceiling for large transients of sound or peak excursions that could damage your equipment.

What's morel, the 166XS is made by DBX who know compressors like the back of their hands. The 166XS can work in bstero or in a dual mono mode and has true RMS power summing and has quality XLR and Jack inputs. It is a truely well made compressor.
