The Dante MY16 AUD interface card is designed to allow you to record from a Yamaha LS9-16 or Yamaha LS9-32 digital mixer directly to your computer. The card sits inside the LS9 and directly connects to the network socket in your computer.

The Dante-MY16-AUD card is a fully compatible Yamaha Mini-YGDAI standard card that instantly Dante-enables your Yamaha console mixer, processor or power amp. Each Dante-MY16-AUD card provides 16 bidirectional audio channels (16 channels at 48 kHz, or 8 channels at 96 kHz) and full Dante network audio redundancy over Gigabit Ethernet. Add more cards to add more channels, and connect to other Dante-enabled audio equipment.

Dante provides both an ultra-low latency combined with scalability, so it is perfect for live sound, broadcast, and installed sound applications The Dante enabled Yamaha equipment can network with other OEM manufacturers Dante enable products to deliver unsurpassed high quality designed to meet the low latency requirements of Professional live sound while delivering the scalability required for large scaled installed sound applications.

The Dante-MY16-AUD comes specially bundled with one license of Audinate’s Dante Virtual Soundcard (DVS) software which enables a single computer to become a networked audio device. No costly professional sound card is required or needed. Running DVS allows you to use your software programs on a PC or Mac as a source or destination for networked audio signals providing a complete audio networking solution.

The Dante controller software and the virtual soundcard software can be downloaded via the Audinate website - http://www.audinate.com/

  • 16 IN/16 OUT operation at 48 kHz, or 8 IN/8 OUT operation at 96 kHz, with high 24-bit resolution.
  • Automatic discovery and setup for network devices. Devices names can be specified as required.
  • Advanced network synchronization technology achieves low latency, low jitter, and high sample precision. Latency can be selected from four preset values: 0.15 ms, 0.5 ms, 1.0 ms, or 5.0 ms.
  • More than 16 audio channels can be transferred when used with a standard network switch. No additional equipment is required for redundant connections.
