The AKG C214 microphone is a member of the acclaimed AKG C414 family of microphones which includes the world's most widely used and respected studio and stage microphones in audio history. AKG C214 features include outstanding dynamic range with increased SPL capability and ultra low noise circuit. The AKG C214 microphone has the same dual-capsule as the C414 microphone, but it only uses one diaphragm instead of two that the AKG C414 uses, This allows the AKG C214 microphone to delive class-leading performance close to the famous C414 B-XLS.
The AKG C214 microphone is suitable for professional studio recording, lead vocals, lead instruments, ensemble recording and professional stage miking. The C214 comes with a rugged road case containing the AKG C214 mic itself, a H85 spider suspension and a W214 windscreen.
